With over 30 years of experience in the investment industry, David LePoidevin is one of the top-ranked investment advisors at Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, managing a portfolio of more than $1 billion in assets.
David began his financial career in 1986 at the bond trading desk in Toronto. In 1988, he became an Investment Advisor at Richardson Greenshields and following its takeover by RBC Dominion Securities in 1996, continued on to become a Vice President at RBC Dominion Securities in May 1997. In 1999, he joined National Bank Financial, where he was awarded the prize for Portfolio Management Excellence in 2012 and 2013, an award given to the top portfolio manager at the firm as measured by risk-adjusted returns. David joined Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management in 2016.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and attained his CIM designation (Discretionary Portfolio Manager) in 2006.
Marc Rinfret, CIM, DMS
A graduate of the University of Alberta, Marc joined the LePoidevin Group in October 2008. Marc’s primary focus is the management of client portfolios within the LePoidevin Group. Marc is a fully licensed Portfolio Manager (with options) and holds both the CIM designation (Chartered Investment Manager) and DMS designation (Derivatives Market Specialist) through the Canadian Securities Institute. Marc also holds his US Securities License through FINRA.
Fletcher Hemmons, CIM
A graduate of St. Francis Xavier University, Fletcher holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Economics. Having joined the LePoidevin Group in May 2010, Fletcher is fully licensed as a Portfolio Manager (with options). Fletcher’s role managing client accounts and relationships as well as developing new business. Fletcher currently holds the CIM designation from the Canadian Securities Institute and his US securities license (General Securities Representative, California) through FINRA.
Lynn is a licensed Investment Assistant. Drawing on over 20 years of experience working exclusively for the LePoidevin Group, Lynn provides stability and institutional memory for the group’s 600 clients, the majority of whom have been with David for more than 10 years.
Senior Associate Trader
Susanna has been in the investment business for over 16 years. Her career began at Haywood Securities as a Sales Assistant, before moving to BMO Nesbitt Burns for eight years and then HSBC Securities for three years. Susanna joined the LePoidevin Group in 2005 where she handles daily trading and client relations.
Alysha To, CFP, TEP, CLU, CHS, CIM, MTI
Financial And Estate Planner
Alysha joined the LePoidevin Group specializing in strategic Financial and Estate Planning to provide our clients with a holistic approach to wealth management. She is fully licensed as a Registered Representative and Life Insurance Agent in B.C. and holds several designations related to in-depth financial, estate and tax planning. As a strong believer in making a difference in our community, Alysha plays an active role on the Executive Committee of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and contributes her time in mentoring students through Junior Achievement of B.C as well as Financial Planning Students at BCIT.
Aren has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia. He joined the LePoidevin Group in January, 2011. Aren’s focus is providing the LePoidevin Group with independent macroeconomic and security specific research. He has been involved in the financial field for over 15 years.
Paige Dulle, CFA
Paige joined the LePoidevin Group in September 2018 and specializes in portfolio trading for the team. She has graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and has since achieved her Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Paige is currently working towards obtaining her US General Securities Representative license through FINRA.
Myra joined the Lepoidevin group in January 2014. Myra completed her undergraduate degree at Simon Fraser University, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Business. Myra plans to continue her education through the Canadian Securities Institute. Myra’s current responsibilities include handling documentation for client accounts and responding to day-to-day administrative requests from clients.
Prior to joining the Lepoidevin Group in 2013, Nicolette worked in retail banking at the Bank of Montreal for seven years. While working as a Financial Services Manager, Nicolette developed strong relationships with clients while gaining an understanding of the various financial solutions that are available through the bank. Nicolette’s role with the LePoidevin Group involves responding to day-to-day administrative requests from clients and general client services.
Jade joined the LePoidevin Group in 2007 and is pleased to act as a key touch point for our clients, in regards to administrative requests and documentation. Prior to entering the investment industry, Jade received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia. Having accrued nearly a decade of familiarity with our process and clientele, Jade has continued to build upon her extensive industry expertise to better serve new and existing clients.
Upon completion of her Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance, Agnes joined the LePoidevin Group full time in January 2017. Agnes is currently broadening her knowledge base through the Canadian Securities Institute. She currently provides support to the Administrative team by handling the documentation of client accounts.
